Huntington Brand

Huntington Brand

Established in 1866, Huntington is a growing, Midwestern regional bank providing financial services in the
way of traditional banking, investment, trust, insurance and various other business banking services.

But growth had resulted in an identity crisis. Huntington had a diverse collection of banking offices in every conceivable architectural style. Brand image and messages were similar to those of their competitors. Huntington needed to find its own voice.

Building on the strategic foundation work of frequent collaborator, Frame 360, Eyethink developed a new brand language for the bank. The first step was the creation of detailed guidelines (color, typography, imagery, tone of voice) for internal marketing staff and external creative partners.
Subsequent work involved redesigning the exterior signage, refining the merchandising strategy and applying a fresh approach to visual communication at all levels.

The result was a brand that was in focus, in keeping with the times and in touch with customers.
